මැද කොළඹ සුදුවැල්ලෙහි අබේගුණරත්න ප්රජාශාලාවේදී පැවති රැස්වීමකදී හිටපු ජනධිපති ගරු රනිල් වික්රමසිංහ මැතිතුමා ඉල්ලා සිටියේ එළඹෙන මහ මැතිවරණයේදීසැලසුමක් නැති, පළපුරුද්දක් නොමැති, අංකයක් මිස නමක්වත් හරියට නොදත් පිරිසකට පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේ බහුතරය නොදී සැලසුමක් සහ පළපුරුද්දක් ඇති නායකත්වයක් පාර්ලිමේන්තුවට ගෙන එන්න කියාය.
At a gathering held at the Abeygunaratne Community Hall in Suduwella, Central Colombo, former President Hon. Ranil Wickremesinghe urged that in the upcoming general election, the majority in Parliament should not be given to those who lack a plan, experience, or even a recognizable name. Instead, he called for bringing leadership with a solid plan and experience into Parliament.
