මා විසින් නීතිය හා සාමය අමාත්යංශයේ අමාත්යවරයා ලෙස කටයුතු කළ කාලයේ ලබාගත් අත්දැකීම් භාවිතයෙන් 2030 වන විට කොළඹ මාර්ගවල මත්ද්රව්ය උවදුර හරි අඩකින් අඩු කිරීමට පියවර ගන්නා බවත් ශක්තිමත් කළ පොලිස් බලකායක් සමඟ වසරකට 10%ක් දක්වා මත්ද්රව්ය අර්බුදය මර්ධනය කරන්නට ක්රියාමාර්ග ගෙන අපේ දරුවන්ගේ අනාගතය ආරක්ෂිත කරන බව රෙඩ්බානාවත්ත, ආමර්වීදීය, අළුත්කඩේ හා නවගම්පුරහිදී එම ප්රදේශවාසීන්ට තහවුරු කලා. එම ප්රදේශවල වසන ජනතාව සමඟ හමුවීමට ඒ වැඩසටහන් සංවිධානය කරන ලද්දේ රොෂාන් මහතා, අසංක මහතා, මොහොමඩ් ඉක්බාල් මහතා, රම්සි හාජ් මහතා හා සුදර්ශන් මහතා විසින්ය.
Drawing from my experience as the former Minister of Law and Order, I aim to reduce the drug threat on Colombo’s streets by half by 2030. Additionally, with a strengthened police force, measures will be taken to curb the drug crisis by 10% each year, securing the future of our children. This commitment was shared with residents of Redbanawatte, Amarasiriwatta, Aluthkade, and Nawagampura. These events were organized to meet with local residents by Mr. Roshan, Mr. Asanka, Mr. Mohamed Iqbal, Mr. Ramsi Haji, and Mr. Sudarshan.
